Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway created a network of chapters along the parkway to be the voice of their local communities. Our Chapters create and implement a work plan with local NPS staff to ensure the needs of their area are met along the Parkway. Chapters also promote the Blue Ridge Parkway in their communities and create a bridge between the park and local residents to ensure the preservation of this national treasure. This network is the backbone of our organization.
