Ready for a fun hike and some volunteer activity? 

Meet the Fisher Peak Chapter of the Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway on Saturday afternoon, March 21, at 1 pm in the gravel parking area near the Blue Ridge Music Center.

At mile post 213.2, turn onto Foothills Road and drive the gravel road about 200 yards to the parking area.  Bring water, work gloves, trail shoes, and proper clothing based on the weather.  We will be hiking about 3 miles while raking leaves and dirt out of the indentations that drain water off the trail (we call them “water drainages”).
